Hands-on, fun learn-by-doing STEM activity that exposes audiences to non-military STEM careers in the Navy, as well as internship and scholarship opportunities. Specific activity is to be determined

This will be a Walk-in-Painting based on Ornithology. It will be an interactive art installation in which audience will learn about birds and then make art about what they learn. Their art will be added into the installation. See examples here: https://rogalskiart.com/walk-in-paintings.html

The Nat will be bringing some animal specimens from our collection and will have some fun nature games that are great for all ages! This will be interactive and great for all ages! The takeaway message will be about the conservation of nature in our region.

Math games and puzzles

Student Leadership Board students from the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair will present demonstrations and lead hands on activities in: 1) Building a simple helicopter from paper and paper clips. 2) Cabbage Juice as a pH indicator 3) Separating pen ink colors using simple chromatography For students grades 6-12 they will talk participating in the Greater San Diego Science Fair in 2026, as well. There will be backboards and notebooks from previous Fairs.

The San Diego Public Library is excited to present our 2025 Spring into STEAM program, designed for ages 9-12. Our tentative theme, Solve IT, will explore the science of mystery solving, featuring age-appropriate forensic activities centered around biology and psychology. Should the theme change, we will provide updates. In addition, we’ll be promoting our library's resources, with a special focus on our STEM programming and services for youth and families.

Hands-on reptile interactions.

We will be providing hands on STEM activities for all age groups! STEM activities will center around various engineering topics to include: electrical engineering, computer programming, aerospace engineering, and more.
