High School

Cristo Rey San Diego High School will have our student-led robotics team represent our high school and showcase the current robot they are creating for competition. This is the first robot that Cristo Rey students have competed with and they are very excited to educate the public on what they ve done thus far.

NASA Eyes - Experience Earth, our solar system, nearby asteroids, the universe, and the spacecraft exploring them with immersive real-time 3D web-based apps for Mac, PC and mobile devices. You can also build a Psyche spacecraft model and learn about NASA's Earth Science program.

Outreach group that educates the public on the importance and necessity of animal research and their contributions. Ask trivia questions, bring a long a mascot, poster props and giveaways.

We will have a couple of hands-on activities, possibly including making play dough (for kids to begin to think in 3D and mold easy objects); 3D pen creations; fused bead projects, other ideas in the works. Booth visitors will learn about Clicbitz's UCSD Extended Studies college-credit approved courses for middle- and high-school students. The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is proud to showcase our commitment to sustainability and community well-being. Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the nuances of airport noise and learn more about our Quieter Homes Program, a unique way we mitigate sound to enhance the quality of life in our surrounding neighborhoods. Additionally, we will share some of our important sustainability practices, demonstrating how environmental stewardship is woven into every aspect

Mechanical Advantage is a nonprofit corporation and FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team. Mechanical Advantage has been supporting this event since 2019 by providing hands-on robotics experiences for attendees of all ages. Attendees can have fun learning about robotics while operating table-top robots and driving a small, crowd friendly robot with soft tires that was designed just for large events like this. We have historically operated out of a 10’x10’ space.
