PUSD will feature graphic design, robotics and engineering hands-on activities. Graphic design will have an interactive and fun paint pouring experience to help learn about graphics.

In collaboration with Traveling Miss T. (@travelingmisst on instagram), The EcoLogik Institute (based out of Cabrillo National Monument) presents Cabrillo National Monument math maps! Travel by coordinate plane to learn about the environment, wildlife, and history of Cabrillo National Monument. Students will also have to opportunity to try their hand at wildlife monitoring with simulated science activities led by real National Park Service biologists!

Helen Woodward Animal Center
Explore how animals are classified by what they eat as well as how they eat with live animal presentations and encounters. Gain an understanding of the interconnectedness of different species on the food web, and participate in an activity that demonstrates a model food web what disruptions invasive species cause to it. In a classroom setting, the class would follow up with tracking and graphing the invasive species impact and brainstorm improvement methods.

Explore the states of matter and watch in amazement as we demonstrate the extraordinary and chilly properties of dry ice!
