Various SSPPS student organizations may be educating on topics including diabetes, immunizations, poison prevention, asthma/vaping, drug development, drug compounding, and we may possibly provide blood pressure screenings. (We're currently finalizing these topics, we will provide updates as soon as possible.)
Standard size booth is fine (10 x 10, 1 table, 2 chairs).
The Biocom Institute Education Symposium brings together educators, nonprofits and industry partners who are reimagining Life Science/Biotech learning experiences in K-12 classrooms, schools and districts. The goal of the symposium is to experience and learn from these innovations first-hand with active practitioners and partner providers. Participants engage in a variety of professional learning and networking opportunities to connect with innovative educators and industry experts & scientists.
It takes true community spirit and engagement to build a successful Festival Week and momentum to support ongoing programs. Our mission is to provide meaningful year-round STEAM experiences for youth and adults alike in San Diego, and throughout the state of CA through our virtual platform.
