Come on over to learn about the brain! You can make neurons (brain cells) out of colorful pipe cleaners and beads, or try your luck with a brain maze. We also tell you about our research looking at brain imaging in people to understand how the brain organizes itself and develops.

Join the Illumina Foundation at Padres Petco Park in the Park as we help visitors to explore the power of genomics. The Illumina Games is a series of traditional games that represent the various parts of genetics including the history of identifying traits, polymerase chain reactions, and even making your own emoji! We will also have airbrush artists featuring science related tattoos for all ages and a Dress Like a Scientist photo booth! Kids and adults of all ages are encouraged to visit!
